Having had cancer (stage 4 melanoma) it made me think differently about life. Suddenly things that had been important became really trivial. 

I have been lucky and so far it has not spread, but I'm still scared for every check up I go to, and this is why I wanted to do my bit to help others.

The Thailand 2020 trip was cancelled due to COVID and then I had a car crash which put a stop to my cycling altogether.  So now I am trekking through the Masai Mara.

I am paying for the trip out of our own pocket. Fundraising is all for the charity.
