King George and Queen’s Hospitals Charity's main aim is to improve patient, staff and visitor welfare at King George Hospital, Ilford and Queen’s Hospital, Romford. Whilst the NHS provides funding for the necessities, King George & Queen’s Hospitals Charity funds projects which enhance the hospital experience for patients, visitors and staff at both Queen’s Hospital, Romford

The Captains and members of Upminster Golf Club are working with the Charity to help provide better rest facilities for the valiant staff at Queen’s Hospital, Romford, who are working so hard on our behalf to take care of those who are ill, especially through the COVID pandemic.

This year the choir is singing White is in the Winter Night - originally sung by Enya, and as well as supporting our local Hospital charity, we would also like to dedicate this song to two wonderful golfing ladies who were in our choir, but regretfully are no longer with us.
