Story
Hello, thank you for visiting my JustGiving page!
In November 2019, I will be running the New York Marathon (the largest marathon on earth!) with a group of Exeter University's Raising & Giving (RAG) Society, to raise money for the National Autistic Society. The National Autistic Society is a great charity that works towards making their vision, a society where people living with autism can thrive, a reality. At present, there are 700,000 people in the UK on the spectrum, and they are supported by over 3 million family members and carers - your donation will go a long way in ensuring that these people are better supported and integrated into society.
I am taking on this mammoth challenge as I, just like you, want to make this vision a reality. With your donations, we can help transform lives. For every penny you donate, attitudes and lives will be changed, as the understanding around autism will begin to improve, positively impacting a wide range of areas including businesses, local authorities, and governments. Your donations, whether it be 50p or £20, are greatly appreciated and they will prove hugely helpful to the 700,000 autistic people currently living in the UK.
As some of you know, I love to challenge myself. So, being able to run the New York Marathon 2019 is an enormous privilege. This is a cause that I am passionate about supporting, and I am sure you are too; any donations will be greatly appreciated. Over the next year, I will be keeping you all updated on my fundraising and training progress through this page.
So what are you waiting for - donate now (with Gift Aid please, if you are a UK taxpayer)!
