It’s that time of year when Leadership Memphis makes its annual campaign appeal to raise funds for the organization. 

For sixteen years I served as President/CEO of this organization, and while I am now in another role at another nonprofit with a different mission, I remain firmly committed to Leadership Memphis for one important reason.  Leadership matters.  Especially community leadership.  And it’s never mattered more than it does today.  We must continue to invest in community leaders and Leadership Memphis.

I’ve made my commitment for this year’s campaign in the amount of $2500 to back up what I believe and what I have said…leadership matters.

You have been generous to Leadership Memphis in the past, and I’m asking you to continue to invest in the organization once again.  In addition to my personal commitment, I’ve committed to raising a total of $10,000 for Leadership Memphis…and you know I will never reach that goal without your help.  If you can give what you gave last year, or possibly stretch and do a little more, I will be most grateful.  And Leadership Memphis will be able to continue empowering the future leaders of our city by advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion, increasing individual and collective impact and promoting civic engagement that makes a difference.
