Story
My older brother, James Willer, who is now 32, was born with severe autism, cerebral palsy and a complex set of renal problems. The support he has received from disability organisations throughout his life has been absolutely incredible, both whilst he was and school and more recently as he has been accessing adult community activities. This has enabled him recently, with carer support, to get involved with practical and active conservation and horticultural work, as well as working towards several AQAs, which has given him a real sense of purpose.
I would very much like to have the opportunity to help other young people and adults with disabilities make similar (or better!) progress by raising money for Phabkids. James would like me to run the 2024 London Marathon - so that's what I will be doing!
James and I are hugely grateful for any donations - it all helps!
