In Loving Memory of Dave Sykes

A talented chef, loved coleague, a cherished father, a friend, and a loving son, Dave Sykes left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him. Tragically, we lost Dave to suicide in October 2021, leaving behind a void that cannot be filled. As we come together to honour his memory through the Dave Sykes Memorial Walk, we are reminded of the importance of mental health awareness and the need for open conversations about the struggles many face in silence.

Dave's untimely passing has inspired us to take action and support Tough To Talk, a vital charity focused on male suicide prevention. Through this initiative, we aim to create a lasting legacy in Dave's name and ensure that more men feel empowered to seek help and support when they need it most.

As we walk together in remembrance of Dave, we also walk with hope for a future where mental health is openly discussed, and the stigma surrounding male suicide is eradicated.
