In May 2016, I'm attempting to run the Market Drayton 10k, to raise money for the Dogs trust. For anyone who knows me, running 10k is so far outside of my comfort zone, it's pretty much on another planet.

I've chosen to raise money for the Dogs Trust, because of the involvement I've had with them over the last decade. My wife and I have rehomed 3 dogs in that time, sponsored countless others, and it's fair to say that all of that has had a really positive impact on our lives.

Some of the dogs that the Dogs Trust take in have had a remarkably tough start in life, and without the care and attention they received, would probably not have made it. The efforts of all the staff to rehome each dog with the right people pays huge dividends, both for the dogs, and their new owners. My life certainly wouldn't have been as rich without Sheba, Cash, and Isaac to come home to.
