Fundraising for Severn Hospice

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

On Saturday19th November 2011 I will be running from Welshpool to Newtown along the canal towpath, a distance of approximately 14 miles.

I am doing this to raise funds in support of Severn Hospice, Shrewsbury. The hospice cared for my friend Tonia Jefferies, for a short while, before Tonia lost her courageous battle with cancer earlier this year.

Tonia's family and friends were all touched by the care that Severn Hospice provided Tonia and we were all suprised to learn that the hospice relies solely on donations for it's existence.

I am lucky to be joined on the run by Tonia's brother, Richard (a proper runner!) and am hoping to persude one or two others to join us.

Please support our efforts and help this worthy cause that provides such an incredible service to the Mid-Wales and Shropshire areas.
