We run three community centres in London to help disadvantaged and vulnerable people

Story

Chuffed :)

I just want to say ONE long thank you as i have now reached my target to raise £1250 for 'The Docklands Settlements' who i ran the Virgin London Marathon 2013 for!

Thank you so much firstly for putting up with my bombardment of messages to raise awareness, to get donations and to get people down to events, i know it can get tiresome.

Secondly Thank you so much to DJs Trolley, Navdeepverma, Aunty Asbo, Hedgehog, Tom Dagone, Paul Pure, Adenassi, Editor & MacLoud. Plus Bands F.S.I., Last Seen Wearing, Yes Men, Oiz ii Men, James Marples, Clean Freaks, Morton Valence, Sonic Mass, Kerouac, CTCVN & Blind Havoc for all the energy you put into the events, in playing amazing sets and also playing for FREE to help raise more money!

Thirdly i want to thank Amy for putting up with me during my training and my dryathlon since Jan 1st, I've not been easy to live with plus my Mum for looking after Juno so i could train and promote.

Thank you to Ruby & Leon for running round, getting people to put money in the buckets :)

Thank you to everyone (and you know who you are the list is too long) who has supported me during the last 9 months of training, everyone who came to at least 1 event, donated at an event or online, showed your support to the acts who supported the events & everyone who made raising this amount of money possible.

Thank you to everyone who came to celebrate after i ran The Marathon, sent messages, watched on tv, congratulated me & believed in me. I ran it in 4Hrs 8Mins and 32Secs and came 12,690th :D

& Finally Thank You everyone who came to the race, i seriously needed that and it helped me finish so thank you Gary Evans (also for your hat), Nathalie ViannaMum, Amy Jo Balmer, Juno Layla Holley, Dad, Victoria Parkes, Rob Parkes, Gemma Cox, Katy Balmer, James Sedgeley, Danny Holley, Emma Holley, Ruby Holley, Leon Holley, Dean Holley, Elia, Ollie, Emma, Dazzy, Jessie, Stuart & Tomoko. Massive thank you also to any one who came but i didn't see :D

I really will not forget that YOU were there backing me, i couldn't of done it with out you. X

Total Raised so far is £2112.55!!!

I chose to run the 2013 London Marathon for The Docklands Settlements firstly because they do a lot of work in the community which we live in and am proud to bring up our beautiful daughter. Secondly, whilst in a time of continuos cut backs, Charities such as The Docklands Settlements are still providing help for people who need help and thirdly, my Mum's family come from The Isle Of Dogs.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

So please dig deep and donate now.
