Im asking you lovely folk to sponsor me to raise funds for Sheffield Mencap & Gateway on their 70th Anniversary. I will sing a medley of 70 pop songs, just me and the guitar, roughly 30 seconds each song, all linked and I’m hoping it will take me 45 minutes. I will record it and post it on Facebook when it’s finished.

I know times are tough at the moment, but if you can spare anything to help this wonderful charity it would be gratefully appreciated and you can see the amazing work it does below. My late sister Judith was a member of Gateway for many years and their care and kindness over those years made her very happy. 

Sheffield Mencap supports over 400 adults and children with learning disabilities every week. In 2018, we are the leading provider of training and support for adults with learning disabilities in Sheffield city. Our vision is that our members and their carers will feel valued, included and respected. We achieve this by providing our members with numerous opportunities to help them to reach their potential in life and by fostering independence, so they can live the life they choose.
