Thank you for visiting my Just Giving page. I've decided to take part in the Tour de Sez 2021 for 2 reasons. 

Firstly, I wanted to support The Sarah Groves Foundation as it is a local charity that helps enhance the lives of young people in our community.

On April 6th 2013 Sarah Groves was tragically murdered on a house boat in Kashmir. Due to Sarah's insatiable love of life together with her desire to make a change in the world, and her determination to help as many people as she could, the Sarah Groves Foundation has been set up in Guernsey as a Charitable Trust. It is focusing on Sarah's inspirations and aspirations, which came from art, children, adventure, and fitness. This fund will continue Sarah's legacy, which is all about love, helping others, and achieving ones dreams. Secondly, I want achieve something that I can look back on with pride As I hit 40 this year I felt that the timing was right to embark on what will be a truly amazing adventure. As I only started cycling two years ago and not at my fittest I know that this will be a real challenge but I am fully committed to seeing this through and with your support I know I can do it.

During the 11 day ride in September 2021 we will cover a distance of 1200 miles and climb a total of 20000 meters.
