Story
Running the London Marathon 2016 was possibly the best event I have ever been a part of. Unfortunately for me, this came at a price. With hopes of finishing the marathon in under 4 hours (preferably under 3hr 30mins) I hopped across the finish line after a painful 4hr 40mins.
Having lost several toenails, I found that not only had I suffered several muscular injuries I had also broken my hip.
Resting has proved to be my biggest challenge and it has been a slow process to begin running again. Having been instructed to rest for 2017's marathon due to my rehabilitation process, I hope that the 2018 attempt will be a faster one.
