James 4yrs and Elizabeth 3yrs, have been through so much in the 21/2 years that they have had t1 diabetes. With more funding towards medical research JDRF can continue with their work to find a cause and hopefully a cure to this life long condition. I have been fundraising for various diabetes charities for 2yrs, last year over £700 was raised at "A perfectly purple charity ball" in Barwick in Elmet. I keep in touch with Mr Alec Shelbrooke who is supporting diabetes and writing a written question to the minister responsible for universities and science recorded in hansard, to ask for more funds from the government for JDRF to continue their good work.
