Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declared earlier today, “We are at war.”

Militant group Hamas launched surprise attacks Saturday morning, terrifying the nation during the Jewish holiday of Simchat Torah. An unprecedented situation, Palestinian militants fired a deadly barrage of rockets and sent gunmen into Israel from Gaza. More than one hundred, innocent Israelis have been killed, 900 injured, and counting. The situation continues to unfold and remains critical as hostages have been reported and towns infiltrated by terrorists.

The IDF launched Operation Swords of Ironin response. As a result, thousands of IDF soldiers and reservists have been mobilized to respond to these attacks, which occurred right after the 50th anniversary of the Yom Kippur War. Israel’s soldiers are standing their ground, just as they did many years ago.

Once again under attack, Israel's soldiers need our support now more than ever. They are on the frontlines to reinstate security.
