Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving

I am fighting to help a bigger fight! Spreading awareness on the dangers of recreational drug taking. A friend of mine and my best mates brother died last year after taking cocaine at a party. Jon was 33 and had his whole life ahead of him.

Jon was first introduced to cocaine in college at the age of 17, if he had been made aware of the dangers of recreational drugs while at school the outcome may have been very different.

Hope UK is a drug education charity – helping equip young people to make drug-free choices. Trained volunteers and staff, who work with children and young people in schools and youth groups, provide interactive, age-appropriate educational sessions about drugs. Life skills that build confidence, enhance peer resistance and develop helpful, transferable skills are woven into sessions designed to encourage healthy choices and enable children and young people to realise their potential.

By supporting my fight we can help a much bigger fight and hopefully stop this happening to someone else’s friend, son or brother.
