I'm 20 years old and currently studying at Loughborough University. When the opportunity arose to raise money for such an amazing charity AND climb to the rooftop of Africa at the same time, it was impossible to turn down. I've quickly learnt what a horrendous and life changing illness meningitis can be for both those who are affected by it and their loved ones. There is still so much more can be done in terms of research to try and prevent many deaths every year from this illness and that's why the meningitis research foundation is such a crucial charity for so many. Every £1 makes such a difference and any donations would be greatly appreciated by both myself and the foundation. I can't wait for the chance to start fundraising for this fantastic cause and top it all off by achieving one of my life goals by conquering Mount Kilimanjaro!
