Story

RIP Dallan

Died 6 January 2022

Dallan (Little Blind One) also known as Mr Magoo is a sweet little cat who has used up a couple of his nine lives.

Dallan was found by a member of the public rummaging through bins for food back in December 2020

He was blind due to cataracts, but then developed a glaucoma which is painful.

He was taken into RSPCA care and he was obviously blind from cataracts. He was then diagnosed hyperthyroid too. A few weeks later we discovered he also had calicivirus which can cause mouth inflammation, mouth ulcers, upper respiratory issues and conjunctivitis. 🥺🥺

He is on treatment for all these issues, but Dallan has also had glaucoma and now he has had an operation to remove both eyes, which is a major surgery for this poor chap.

He's only about 9 years old and despite his health is a happy chap, he loves life and is playful and very affectionate 😻
