Story
My Daddy Wilson was a brave and wonderful man. He gave me so much love and support and of course my Wilson Walking Legs.
I am incredibly lucky to have had Daddy in my life and am so proud of him; he was so very brave over the last two months.
St Peter and St James Hospice cared so greatly for him in his final weeks and I want to support them and in turn others to continue such wonderful work.
I ran the Edinburgh Marathon 2017 with my Runkateer Sophie creating Team Daddy Wilson.
In May 2019 Team Daddy Wilson took on Liverpool's Rock and Roll Half and Full Marathons. In September 2019 I completed my second marathon of the year (fourth in total) at Richmond Marathon. I couldn't have done it without the support of all my amazing friends.
In May 2023 I ran an Ultra Marathon, 50km Run to the Sea Brighton, covering paths on the South Downs I have walked with Dad. The weather was horrendous! Dad and I always liked to check the sea was still there and it was still there at the finish line! Mel and Lou have joined Team Daddy Wilson and also took on he challenge.
Dad was always my number one supporter and I know he is always there cheering us on.
