Story
On Thursday 15th December, we will come together – to make the world better with a sweater. Please wear your Christmas Jumper throughout this day and to all of your meetings, and donate to our page as we fundraise for Vauxhall City Farm. Suggested donation of 10GBP PP.
Your support makes a difference!
10GBP buys 2 bales of hay (their animals need 150 bales every month)
20GBP will cover the farm's electricity cost for one entire day.
30 GBP will pay for farrier costs & dental treatments for 1 horse, for one month.
Every donation made will help Vauxhall City Farm reach more people with its services.
Vauxhall City Farm is a city farm located in Vauxhall in the London Borough of Lambeth. The farm is run as a charity focusing on education, youth work, animal care, and horticulture and is a centre for Riding for the Disabled. It is one of the oldest and most central city farms in London being located within earshot of Big Ben and in the shadow of MI6. Despite this proximity to ‘wealth’, Lambeth is one of the most deprived boroughs in London and the farm is surrounded by high-rise blocks occupied by individuals and families, many of whom have low incomes and suffer poverty of opportunity.
