The Midlands Air Ambulance Charity funds 3 helicopters serving West Midlands, Shropshire, Staffordshire, Gloucestershire, Worcestershire, Herefordshire & Welsh borders. Funded entirely by the public, it receives no Government or Lottery funding. £9 million is needed each year to keep it operational.

A single helicopter mission costs £2,500 with an average of six missions needed per day, so the Birmingham office are seeking to raise £15,000 for MAAC to cover a day’s running costs for the charity.
