About the charity

Since 1972, Ala Costa's mission has been to empower children and young adults with developmental disabilities in Alameda and Contra Costa Counties to find, use, and express their unique skills and talents while supporting their families. Ala Costa works closely with each student's school, family, therapists, and case workers in order to provide the highest level of support and to address the participants' goals.
