If you know me as Dean ….Deano Vaselino ,Dink ,( or one of Lorraine's facebook friends know me as Roy ???  - don't ask).

Thank you so much to those kind folks who have supported my efforts thus far . 

Due to Coronavirus we'll now be running the event virtually on my own this Sunday .

So no crowd to encourage me , but I'll be fine . 

The days running / walking  / staggering will possibly take all day but it is the taking part that counts .

I have run many marathons  over the years alongside my pals( including NY, Paris, Rome and London a few times)  and you may have supported me before , but I promise this is the LAST time I shall put myself through this gruelling ordeal ,and ask any of you to donate to charity on my behalf again.

I have been brought out of retirement for a very special reason .

It is over 2 years now since we lost a very special friend Lucy Nicholls, to blood cancer.

Lucy was an inspirational person who we had the pleasure of being close to for many years . She was the sweetest ,kindest and most wonderful human being inside and out. 

She is missed more and more each day .

If you will kindly keep sponsoring  me for this great cause I'd be so grateful .

Your donation plus others have inspired me to train on over the summer months  and if I get to my fundraising target through your kindness ,there will be no way I'll not do it this Sunday .
