I am taking part in the Veterans Banger Rally 2021, which is a road rally covering in excess of 1500 miles around the UK.

The purpose of the Rally is to raise funds for various military charities as well as a charity of choice, I have chosen the Ey Up Charity as it is supported by the  NHS Trust that I work for.

The Rules for the Veterans Banger Rally are that you have to purchase a car for £500 or less which you can decorate to your liking, it has to be road worthy, you have to have at least one team member who is a military veteran or a serving member of the military.

Teams have to consist of 2 or more people.

Team 67 Bangers to Ca$h will consist of myself and my two sons Charlie and Harry.

There are between 50 to 100 teams taking part from all over the UK.

The plan is to arrive at designated points each day with tasks to complete on the way, and to hopefully not brake down!!

The Rally will run from the 5th September starting at the National Memorial Arboretum and will finish on the 10th September at the Royal British Legion club in Runcorn.
