We work on Kenya's front line to protect threatened wildlife and habitats

Story

Every life, wild or tame, counts! So here we are...

We adore the 'Herd of Hope' here in Spitalfields and it would be wonderful if we can adopt enough orphans to create our own little 'Herd of Love'....although, given the lack of space, they may need to reside in Kenya until we get to visit them in the near future!

So who are the Sheldrick Wildlife Trust?

They work on Kenya's front line to protect threatened wildlife and habitats. Hand raising orphan baby elephants who have lost their mothers, with years of care, these babies are gradually reintegrated back into the wild, with many going on to have babies of their own!

The Sheldrick Wildlife Trust also operates Anti-Poaching and Mobile Veterinary Units, as well as Aerial Surveillance Teams, to keep wild animals of all kinds safe.

Let's do what we can to help care for these orphans for as long as we're on earth.

About the charity

Our Teams work to protect Kenya's wildlife and habitats through Anti-Poaching operations, Community Outreach, Mobile Veterinary support and the rescue and rehabilitation of elephant and rhino orphans so that they can return to the wild when grown. With your help, we can save more wild lives.
