At Amersham Place we are proud to partner with Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity and support the fantastic work they do by providing specialist nurses for children with rare, undiagnosed and complex, lifelong conditions. Every pound we raise will go directly towards funding nursing hours for Roald Dahl nurses.

Roald Dahl’s Marvellous Children’s Charity provides specialist nurses and support to seriously ill children and their families. These families are living with the fear, worry and emotional rollercoaster that comes with having a child with a complex, lifelong illness. The charity is currently able to support 21,000 seriously ill children across the UK through their network of 79 Roald Dahl Specialist Nurses, however there are at least 100,000 children living with a serious lifelong illness right now, with that number growing. This means that not every child and family are receiving the dedicated specialist nursing care they need and deserve. As we face a second wave of the Covid-19 emergency, as families shield to protect their vulnerable children, and the NHS comes under increased pressure, this support is needed more than ever.
