Story
I NEED YOUR HELP!!!
Hey my lovelies. I’m sure some of you that have been following me for a while will know that at some point in my life I was displaced. It was an incredibly difficult time in my life as I was constantly unsettled and feeling like I had no direction.
I’m sure with lockdown we can all appreciate the value of having a home that meets our needs, so spare a thought for those without one at all!
Fortunately enough for me, there are organisations out there like Oasis Community Housing that quite literally helped me get my life back on track. They provided me with a place to call home, the first and most important step towards helping me rediscover who I was and figure out who I wanted to be.
I can’t stress the importance of their work enough. They’re all about prevention and intervention. Tackling the issue of homelessness head on to provide hope of a future that seems so hard to imagine when you don’t even have a roof over your head.
To help support Oasis Community Housing and their work, I will be hosting a Park Party at Crystal Place Park, on 3rd of July at (2pm) and would absolutely love your support.
Please do turn up, tell your friends and give generously. It really is an amazing cause! No amount is too small. Lots of small contributions can come together to make something great!
