Our mother was many things, and charitable was one of them as her friends, family and colleagues will know. Compassion UK was her subscribed charity and a cause dear to her heart — she spent her life caring for those who needed to be cared for.

We have received an abundance of gifts and flowers, all of which we appreciate immensely with thanks. However, we would love for Cynthia’s friends, family and colleagues to pay their respects by donating to this wonderful cause in lieu. We believe that our mother would love for us to do this, and it would pay homage to the selfless and generous person she was.
