Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

The objective of Cycle to the Sky is for a team of riders to cycle from Bruntingthorpe Aerodrome, where Avro Vulcan XH558 was restored to flight, to her new home at RobinHoodAirport’s Hangar 3, via Newark,Coningsby,Waddington and Scampton a distance of over 150 miles.

The challenge will take place over the 14th & 15th May 2014.

We are seeking sponsorship to raise funds on behalf of the Vulcan to the Sky Trust (Registered Charity 1101948), which operates XH558 as the last flying example of the Avro Vulcan. Each flight of XH558 honours British engineering skills and aims to inspire a future generation of engineers, whilst providing a platform for Cold War history education.

The Cylcle to The Sky event is organised by the Vulcan To The Sky Club, the Club forms the primary channel for the publics affection for XH558, please visit our social media sites to find out more information about the Club, www.facebook.com/vulcantotheskyclub or www.vulcantothesky.org/club
