Story

Christmas time is upon us. It's the time of year for giving and sharing.

Benedict Cumberbatch has had the most exciting, fantastic year and collectively we, his fans, want to give back and celebrate his 2013.

What better way to do this than to put our money we'd otherwise buy on materialistic things for Benedict and put it towards the charity of his choice, The Princes Trust. The Princes Trust do great work and they're an excellent charity that Benedict is also an ambassador of.

After Cumberbatchweb's success of raising money for Myeloma UK this year, Benedict made a small request. "Could you please put the time and energy, money and effort you put into these gifts, cards and messages to me into doing good for someone else?"

Well, of course.

Please donate what you can. I know this time of year is tough but every little helps.

I shall sign out with a quote from Benedict's thanks to Cumberbatchweb's Just Giving page from his birthday in July.

"It doesn't have to be money, perhaps it's just a bit of your time or a simple gesture of kindness. I simply think if the number of people who threw love my way did so to people that need it far more than me, that would be a wonderful feeling for us all to have..."
