Story
On the 7th November 2015, I will be taking part in a 24 hour gaming marathon, starting at 7AM. This is part of a global event called Extra Life, which is dedicated to raising money for Children's health. Their policy is for the money to do directly to Children's charities to spend where they need to spend it.
I have chosen Young Minds Trust as my charity. As someone who has suffered from mental health issues, I feel like mental health is an area that needs a lot of focus. Young Minds Trust is dedicated to helping children with mental health issues.
As for the event itself: I will be playing video games (and the odd board game). This sounds easy, but it can actually be difficult due to the 24 hour period.
The entire 24 hours will be streamed online via https://gaming.youtube.com/c/DeanJonesCube/live
I will be playing a variety of video games, including the following
Timed Events- 7AM+ Binary Domain
- 11AM-12Noon Super Mario Maker*
- 12Noon+ Hatoful Boyfriend
- 5PM Sonic 2 Challenge
- 8PM-12PM Splatoon & Rocket League
- 12Midnight+ Remember Me
- A Hat in Time
- Prison Architect
- Speedrunners
- Quiplash
- Portal 2 Co-op
I will be also doing something special with Super Mario Maker. If you donate and submit some level IDs, I will play them during the event. They don't have to be yours, so you can force me to play extremely difficult levels. I can't promise to complete them all, but I will definitely give them all multiple tries.
If you have any other gaming suggestions, let me know. I'm willing to play terrible games, as long as you're willing to donate.
