What is crowdfunding?
Crowdfunding is a new type of fundraising where you can raise funds for your own personal cause, even if you're not a registered nonprofit.
The page owner is responsible for the distribution of funds raised.
Story
We want all girls across the Shaftesbury District to have the space and opportunities they need to thrive, grow and make a positive difference in their community ❤️
To do this, we are raising funds to complete the new Girlguide Hall. It is very close to completion, but we need another £10k to finish the project to make the hall usable for the girls.
To raise this money, I am climbing the tallest mountain in North Africa - Mount Toubkal, in Morocco. The 3 day trek will include snow and ice in sub-zero temperatures and the ultimate endurance test: maximum physical exertion at high altitude. I have promised the girls that when I reach the top, I will do the 'Macarena' dance! :-D
