Recently, one of our Crew's family member suffered a life changing spinal injury. The road to recovery will be long, with the Southern Spinal Injuries Trust playing a key role in supporting this. Crew 6 is more than a group of sailors; we are a family and so anything such as this is acutely felt by all on-board, as is the desire to what we can to help.

Despite being deployed on operations in the Arabian Gulf, Crew 6 would never let distance get in the way of doing their bit. In fact, this time we're using it to our advantage! Over the deployment, the Crew will be logging their runs, rows and cycles in order to achieve the same distance it would take to get by land from the Ship's berth in Mina Salman, Bahrain to that in her home port in Portsmouth; all 6460Kms!
