Craig's trek to Petra page

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
I had never encountered a Hospice until 2016, when my Dad required palliative care due to terminal cancer. While those were some of the most difficult 5 weeks of our family's life, the care, support and dignity that my Dad received from the team at Thames Hospice provided great comfort. Through my fundraising I have spoken to many people who's family have shared the similar stories and experiences.
This is my 3rd trek fundraising event in support of Thames Hospice. Its been delayed for 12 months due to covid...so time to get my walking boots back on. I'm off to the desert in Jordan, trekking in 30 degrees heat with a final destination of Petra (one for the bucket list). It's listed as a grade 2 / Tough challenge so I'm looking forward to the test.
The first two (Sahara trek and Thames path) were supported amazingly by so many people, raising over £17k towards the Raise the Roof campaign to help build the new Hospice in Bray. Now it's all about providing support so the amazing Hospice team can continue their great work.
I know things are difficult for all of us right now, but anything you can donate will make a difference and be a great help.
Thanks for supporting me again.
