Hello everyone.

 My name is Archie. I’m a boisterous 9 month old Cocker Spaniel puppy. I’m full of fun and I love my life!

I started my life on a puppy farm. We weren’t looked after properly at the puppy farm, and one day I was rescued by Friends of Animals Wales and taken away from that dark place.
Life changed for me very quickly! My Human Dad saw me on the Friends of Animals Wales website, and my Dad fell in love with me instantly! He was messaging about me and my brother every day. My Dad knew I had a heart murmur but he loved me anyway! I was adopted, and I am showered with love and kisses every day. My new family all love me so much and I even have a big sister named Tara. She was a rescue too and she has taken me under her paw and is teaching me the right way to behave.

I’ve been getting very tired lately, and sometimes I find it quite hard to breathe. I really want to run around a lot - but I’m struggling a bit…
… A vet had a look at my heart last week and said it has got worse. My Mam and Dad got very upset when the vet said I was very poorly, they started to cry, and this made me so sad. They are being very brave now because the vet said she can try to fix me with an operation to put a balloon in my heart. I will need to go to a special hospital and it’s going to cost a lot of money!
Because I already had a heart murmur when I was a puppy, there’s no insurance to pay for my operation. So my humans are going to help raise enough money for me to get my surgery - without it, my life won’t be a long one.

I am asking you all to help make my life a long and happy one, with a donation to the wonderful people at Friends of Animals Wales who cared for me first, and kept on caring by making sure I’ve seen a Specialist Cardiologist and making sure I get the chance of surgery. They made my life so much better by finding my human Mam and Dad and my fantastic big sister Tara. Life has been brilliant since we have been together. Dad loves all the kisses I give him and Mam loves my cheeky smile and says she melts when she looks into my eyes.
