Story

I have been a member of Playbox Theatre since I was 5 years old. Acting is my passion, and through Playbox I have learnt to love Shakespeare; with the help of Mary and Stewart I am learning the skills I need to become a professional actor when I leave school. I spend at least 4 days a week at Playbox, and I have acted in several of their productions, including The Three Musketeers, Midsummer Night's Dream, Much Ado About Nothing and most recently Strikes,.

Since March 23rd Playbox Theatre has been forced to close, and its survival is under serious threat. I and many other people like me are desperate to help it survive so that we can get back to creating amazing theatre at the Dream Factory.

I am asking you to sponsor me in my effort to raise funds for Playbox. Richard III is one of my favourite Shakespeare characters - he appeals to my dark side. He is often charming on the outside, but he tells the audience his inner evil thoughts through his soliloquies. He has six in total, and I am going to learn one each week over the summer. I will upload them onto YouTube so that you can see that I have really done it!

Please help me to save Playbox theatre - any contribution, however small, will be hugely appreciated and will go towards making this amazing company live on after COVID19.
