In Memory of Concetta Raucci

On 12th February 2019 we lost our beloved wife, mother and Nonna to pancreatic cancer.
Concetta was a beautiful, loving, inspiring and hardworking woman who was taken from us too soon and still had so much more life to give. She would do anything for us, and we have been blessed to have had her in our lives.
As a family, our main aim is to raise as much awareness and money for Pancreatic Cancer UK as possible, to try and prevent others from going through the pain of losing a loved one.
Pancreatic cancer is the 5th most common cause of cancer death in the UK. Around 9,000 people die every year because of it. It often doesn't show any signs or symptoms in the early stages and survival rates have not shown much improvement in the last 40 years.
Pancreatic Cancer UK supports those who are affected by the illness, investing in ground breaking research that can transform the future for those with pancreatic cancer and will move us closer towards finding a cure. Over the last 10 years, pancreatic cancer has received less than 3% of overall cancer research funding - this is why it's so important to raise as much money as possible to discover new treatments, improve diagnosis and make sure everyone gets the best treatment and care.
