Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Over the last few years we have paid for Bernard and Effie to attend Utugi Angels. They have both recently graduated and are able to live with their families as a result of the life skills they have learnt during their time with Utugi Angels.
There are currently 5 children who would really benefit from the same level of support.
PETER, NGANGA, DAVID. - Their parents are John and Phyllis. Their story featured on a local TV station in 2019. John and Phyllis are a couple with 5 children with learning disabilities. They lived on the roadside, about 15 kilometers from New Hope. In 2020, a well-wisher built them a house at Laura and Gareths Village. They moved into their new house in May 2020.
PETER KINYANJUI. - Came from the streets of Nairobi, together with his younger sister, Angel, and resides at New Hope.
MARY WANGARI was an abandoned child and her other siblings are at NH. She is currently at AIC Mukeu School for Physically Disabled.
The cost per year at Utugi Angels is approximately £600 which is more than we pay for education usually so we are looking for donations in order to cover the costs for all 5 children.
On 27th September I'm doing Outlaw X middle distance triathlon which is swim 1.2 miles, Cycle 56 miles and then run a half marathon. The following weekend I will be running the London Marathon. (To make matters worse I've currently got injuried affecting my heels and achilles so training isn't quite going to plan but I'm determined to make the start line and then see how it goes from there.)
If you would like to make a contribution towards the ongoing costs then please donate here.
Thanks for all your support.
