Story
As a wellbeing ambassador for Clipper Logistics, I've decided to set up this challenge for our depot to run/cycle/walk over 500 miles throughout the month of February.
This is part of our national wellbeing programme to eat healthier, drink less and move more.
Involved in this challenge is:
Colin Fotheringham, Chris Adams, Andrew Sterling, Robert Allan, David Johnstone, Francis Burns and myself.
In the current climate with Covid-19, the NHS and charities need as much support as ever so I've decided that all money raised will go to Blood Bikes Cumbria based in Carlisle.
They do a fantastic job at supporting the NHS by transporting blood and urgent medical supplies for free and out of hours around the country. They also supply the Great North Air Ambulance with blood for their blood-on-board service 365 days a year regardless of weather conditions.
Blood Bikes Cumbria funding comes entirely from charitable donations and the service is provided solely by volunteers, giving their own free time to help others.
Any donations received will be greatly appreciated and I will post weekly updates as to how the challenge is progressing. We will be tracking our daily runs/cycles/walks by using gps tracking apps like Strava.
Thank you for all your support!
