Story

Cassie enjoyed walking as one her hobbies and even managed
to climb Ben An and the Cobbler three years after been diagnosed with Cancer.

One of her favourite places to go with her family was the Isle of Arran and she always had climbing Goat Fell as one of her next ventures.

Sadly, she never managed to and so her son Finlay who is ten said after she passed that he would climb it for her.

So on Sunday 4th December 2022, Finlay along with his friend Harrison will climb Goat Fell in honor of Cassie.  They are fund raising for The Ayrshire Hospice where Cassie and her family spent the last stage of her life together.

Our charity cares for adults in Ayrshire and Arran with life-limiting illnesses. We help them live as actively as possible to the end of their lives, however long that may be. Hospice care is open to all. It’s free for patients but it’s not free to provide. So we need to raise over £4M each year.
