Story
On Friday 19th June, Leicester Grammar School pupils and staff will be talking part in a House Walk to raise funds for charity. Within our own community, we have seen the benefit of animal therapy as offered by charities such as Pets as Therapy and we are keen to support the cause further, and indeed to bring therapy dogs into school as part of a wider well-being initiative.
PAT Volunteers and their animals provide companionship at times of isolation and challenge. PAT visits can allow children , sick people and the elderly to talk when they are struggle to communicate.
Please do take part and make a donation. £100, for example, could allow a team of PAT dogs and volunteers to go into a hospital and our initial goal is to raise £500.
