Hello hello!

I’m sure that you’re aware of the current spiking issue around the UK and the response on social media. There have been efforts across the country to boycott clubs, and Edinburgh’s night is this Thursday… I don’t know about you, but the idea of confining yourself to your house to avoid spiking and who knows what else doesn’t sound that appealing. So, we’d like to host a light-hearted evening of food, drink and games to fundraise for the Edinburgh Rape Crisis Centre. The centre provides free counselling sessions to victims of sexual assault, with a focus on intersectionality. Right. Logistics. We are offering a plate of grub and a bottle of beer for a fiver. There’s going to be a pub quiz and a silent auction. If anyone has something they’d like to offer, please let us know.

For the silent auction so far, we've got:
A free pint every time you bump into Alice in a pub until Christmas.
Max will wine and dine you at Chez Jules.
An evening of Dragon Soop tasting with Aggie.
Clara will cook you and your flat a three-course meal of your choice (within reason)
