Story

On Tuesday 12th February 2002 it was the worst day of my life but also for my family as I sadly lost my Mum to Cancer at the age of 42.
Me being aged 11, I never knew how to deal with the grief of losing a parent but within 4 years after this, I lost a further 3 more close family members.
Since then I have been battling with my own Mental Health and being a young lad, never showed my emotions but also started to isolate myself at home and not really being involved with my family or friends, this was damaging.
In the end I made the bravest decision in 2012 and finally admitted to my best mate James that I was struggling.
Then struggling, this was the first and best day of my life towards recovery.
Since then I have become stronger in talking about my emotions to the point where I run a social media platform sharing my experience while also talking about my feelings.
And now I have set up the Claire Killick Memorial in memory of my Mum, while supporting The Lucy Rayner Foundation who are based in Surrey.
I personally work closely with The Lucy Rayner Foundation through the work I do and that is why I am supporting them.

With this project I will be doing various fundraising events so the best way to keep updated with what I am doing is to keep checking my website out.

I would appreciate any donations that you could give to this page even if its £1 and 100% of your money will go to the charity.

If you want to get involved with my fundraising, then please get in touch.
