The reason I am doing this is because my beautiful mother has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. The odds for surviving are very high but non the less, the treatment means she has lost her hair. To some this may not sound particularly bad, but hair, especially for women, is such a prominent part of our femininity. So when my mum made the decision to shave her hair off, so did I and I would love to raise some money for breast cancer research in the process.
