This year instead of receiving presents or throwing a big party I would like to fundraise for a charity very close to my heart. Friends of Africa is a global development charity working in Ireland and across Africa to help empower young people and develop their personal skills in short and long term projects.

So I will run 30km (the furthest I have ever attempted) on the morning of my 30th birthday around the hilly townland I grew up in. If you would like to mark my old age please consider donating to FOA. Thanks :)
