Despite everything Covid has changed in my life, I have taken for granted that I have a safe and comfortable home to hide away in. So much so that in these strange times it can sometimes feel like too much effort to make it out of my own front door.

Many people are not lucky enough to have the choice and every day people experiencing homelessness walk miles and miles to access support, food or simply keep warm.

So I have committed to a mile a day throughout Lent, covering 40 miles in 40 days, to help raise money and awareness for all those walking on the streets to find hope #TeamOasis

I know that the pandemic has effected everyone's lives and finances, but if you do have money to give then I would be very grateful for your help. Your help will give me the motivation to complete my mile every day and will make a huge difference to people experiencing homelessness in the North East and South London. 

£5 could provide safe travel to emergency accommodation

£10 could buy tea and coffee supplies for one day in a drop-in centre that serves people who are rough sleeping or in housing crisis.

£15 could provide a pair of shoes and socks that fit. Many people rough sleeping wear ill-fitting, damaged and painful footwear. 

£20 could provide a night of emergency accommodation.
