Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I just want to do something ‘fun’ and ‘crazy’ in this time of uncertainty at the same time as raising money for an incredible cause. I am renowned for having big hair so thought a head shave would be a small sacrifice to make at the current time while others continue to risk their lives to provide care for others.

Hospice at Home is a truly amazing charity that many many people rely on in times of despair, and just recently one of my very good friends and her family turned to them for support during her Mum’s end of life care. Sue, I hope, would’ve found this hilarious and will be laughing aloud as the razor hits my scalp!!

So basically, I need to raise at least £1500 by Sunday 12th April so that the head shave can go ahead on Monday 13th April. If I don’t make my target figure my big unruly mop will remain on my head and the money raised will go towards my sponsorship for the Great North Run which I will be running on Sunday 13th September 2020.......

Please dig deep, even if it is just to see me look ridiculous!!!!
