Rabies needlessly kills 59,000 people each year. This needs to change. Following World Health Organisation guidelines we run mass canine vaccination drives and lifesaving education programmes to help people protect themselves against rabies. What we are doing works, but we can't do it alone.

Story

Claire and Nicole first met as trainee vet nurses in practice back nine years ago. Over the years they've dreamt of combining their love of animals and a view to make a difference.

They chose to join mission rabies due to the devastating effect rabies has on both human and canine populations. Every nine minutes a child dies as a result of rabies worldwide.

Money raised helps fund vital dog catching equipment, vaccination teams, employs teachers to educate children living in remote areas and support hotline for emergency response should a rabid dog be found.   In the quest to save lives.

So far mission rabies have successfully vaccinated 500,000 dogs, 700,00 children educated and 64,000 dogs neutered- We aim to help eradicate this terrible disease.

Please dig deep, any donations you can make will be gratefully received.
