For the first time in 38 years Thames Valley Adventure Playground has had to stop our vital work with the 30,000 people we annually support in the local and wider special needs community. The Covid pandemic has resulted in almost a complete ceasing of our income, with halt of fundraising events, decreased receipt of donations and the temporary closure of the playground itself, which means no contributions. Whilst our fingers are crossed that our planned fundraising events will proceed at a later date, there is currently a financial gap we need to fill to be able to continue supporting the children and adults who visit us. We so look forward to the time when we can once again provide the respite, sanctuary and support to our beneficiaries, who rely on us so much.
