Story
Happy International Women's Day 2023! To celebrate the incredible women in our lives and honour the contributions they make to our business, we're launching a donation campaign.
We're inviting employees, colleagues, clients, and friends to donate as little or as much as they can, and when making the donation, to nominate a female employee and provide a shoutout about why they are nominating her. This way, we can not only give back but also celebrate the female forces behind our business.
At the end of the campaign, we will collate the shoutouts and share them company-wide, spreading the love and recognition for our amazing female colleagues. Additionally, we will be supporting a charity that promotes women's education and development, because we believe that empowering women is the key to a better future for all.
We're proud to support the Young Women's Trust as our chosen charity for this campaign. This amazing charity offers support to young women aged 18 to 30 who are living on low or no pay and want to build a better future, through their "Work It Out" program. This free service provides coaching and personalised feedback on CV and job applications, helping young women to develop the skills and confidence they need to succeed in the workplace.
But the Young Women's Trust does more than just offer practical support - they also campaign for young women's equality in the workplace and explore the issues that young women face, such as the income gap and discrimination. Through their research, they examine the challenges young women face and work to create a more equal and inclusive society.
Their work is supported by corporate partners and charitable grants, as well as fundraising activities and donations like this one. And perhaps most importantly, young women are at the centre of the charity's work, leading, designing, and participating in all that they do. We're proud to support the Young Women's Trust and their mission to empower young women and promote gender equality.
We're excited to share this campaign in both Ireland and the UK, and we hope you'll join us in showing appreciation for the amazing women in our lives. Thank you for your support!
