Amego is committed to supporting people living with autism and other developmental disabilities at home, school, work and as members of their families and communities. Amego's story began in 1971 with one adolescent whose parents refused to accept institutional placement. Amego's work continues by serving those with the most difficult challenges, providing educational opportunities with the premise that all can learn, and focusing on the strengths of relationships, family and community. Amego continues to serve their very first student.
